After they scheduled my interview, I didnt get my notice, so I sent a request. And they are sending their response now, 1 month after my interview lol

I recently requested an update on my case from the Houston asylum office. Got a response saying my case is still pending supervisor asylum officer's review. Had my interview over 40 days ago. It would seem the supervisor asylum officer someone's case is referred to also plays a role on how long it takes to get a response.

There are no standardized answers to uscis, people will see different updates on similar cases

So if you do not file mandamus, what are you relying on to get a response from USCIS, there are people waiting 2-3 years for their results, theres no law that mandates them to respond within a certain number of days..

i had my interview on april 24th and no response so far, just Application pending, Houston office too. How do you requested an update on your case?
