Congratulations! Well done!Finally
Congratulations on getting your decision.Thank you very yall.
It wasn’t easy, I know I haven’t waited for a long time to get interviewed or to get a decision considering many people here waiting for years and years for interview and decision but even for a short time the pain of knowing we are powerless and couldn’t meet our family and knowing they are suffering because of the government makes everyone of us sick. And thank you very much for everybody for helping me out when I reach out to you and I will continue to help others. I promise!
Thanks and I understand. Sometimes you will feel like you will never see your decision but hey don’t stop pushing, some people might think it will backfire but if they want to refer your case to immigration court then they won’t make up their mind because you are asking them not to overlook your case.Congratulations on getting your decision.
I’m really happy for you. This waiting time is painful I’ve been waiting almost 10 months and I’m still waiting with no update. It’s exhausting, but I hope soon every one of us gets good news too.
I understand what you said about asking USCIS and that it won’t affect the case in a bad way. Thanks and I understand. If your attorney says wait , that would be my advice , only you and him know d full details of ur situation, I remember like during covid I asked a question to the forum about whether it’s better to wait for interview or decision and we couldn’t really agree , I waited 7 years for interview and got my decision in 5 days !!! So my advice is like Life everything evens up , stay strong , praying for u and wishing you the best .I understand what you said about asking USCIS and that it won’t affect the case in a bad way.
I just want to share my situation, I already did two inquiries by myself through my USCIS account. The first time they mailed me saying my case is under review, but the second time I didn’t get any response, and it’s been more than 75 days now.
My attorney also sent two emails to the Chicago asylum office, and both times they replied the same thing, that my case is under review. When I asked to meet her, she said there’s nothing we can do right now and it’s better to wait instead of pushing.
So what’s your advice? And what do others in the group think? This waiting is really becoming madness.
Congratulations! Which office?Finally
Thanks for your reply. Honestly, I don’t think it’s the best idea to just wait without asking USCIS, but I’ll try to wait a few more weeks as my attorney suggested. If your attorney says wait , that would be my advice , only you and him know d full details of ur situation, I remember like during covid I asked a question to the forum about whether it’s better to wait for interview or decision and we couldn’t really agree , I waited 7 years for interview and got my decision in 5 days !!! I have been waiting for over 6 months after the interview, and I sent two inquiries. Both were answered: one via email and the second one via mail, but with generic responses. Now, like your attorney, my lawyer recommended that we should wait for at least until the ninth month to consider pushing them again.I understand what you said about asking USCIS and that it won’t affect the case in a bad way.
