Waiting Asylum decision

Hi @ seeker 512.
I have been waiting for decision since Feb 2022. Did interview in SF office. Checked through Congress lady and ombudsman’s office. Luckily got reply from both sides. See the response below and please guide what to do.
You have no other option than being patient here. At least, you have the confirmation that your case is under extended review.

Hi guys, I took my asylum interview in October 2021 in Newark,NJ. Although I still have not heard back a decision yet, my FOIA says ‘assessment is to grant’. Does this mean it is approved and is there anything I can do to speed this up?

Could you please share the section where you see this? Is it written on your application? On a specific place? Or somewhere else? Your answers appreciated

I requested FOIA twice and came the same.. as you see there is a little redaction by the white box while the decision section is still blank.

It is on the ‘Assessment to Grant’ paperwork. Decision section says, ‘assessment is to grant’ which was issued 8 days after my interview

These pages are not clear. Take a photo of these pages and then attach here. Until unless it cannot be fully read, nobody at least I can't say anything about your decision.

How to get this papers ? i also filed FOIA request but never got this type of papers. did you particular mentioned any word to get this ?

It’s been over a year since I had my interview, haven’t received the decision yet. I contacted Ombudsman office, received this message, your case is under active review. Any idea what does that mean?

I am assisting an asylum seeker from South America who is filing their I-589 with USCIS and who lives in Manhattan. Has anyone recently filed their I-589 and heard back from the NY asylum office for an interview? What are your timelines like?
