Q not clear :)

I completed interview on Dec 29 and next day on 30 Decision is pending and the next day on 31 changed to application is pending
Also I would like to mention that the AO didn’t asked much about personal statement and evidence I provided just simple and direct questions
Any clue please
Was your interview in the Chicago main office?

Am asking if its the same office issuing EAD cards that also schedule interviews , its been 6 years .......maybe rather than issue me another card, they will finally schedule my interview
I don't think so, both are separate operation using same data. So why you do not want to go for interview ?

Hello everyone,
I have been waiting the asylum decision for about two months. It's been really hard for me and my family. Struggling with finances, and dealing with depression.
Im trying to keep myself busy preparing my CV, cover letters, and looking for jobs, but I cant apply since I still dont have the EAD, and have NO idea if I will be approved soon. I have to wait until the end of November to send uscis the I-765 form, and as far as I know, it could take about a month for them to approve it. Which means, that maybe i will be able to work until next year. :(
How do you guys do it??
I know is not easy to get a job here. I have a couple of friends who lost their jobs last year because the recession, and they still can't find anything!
So I have been thinking to start applying jobs, but what if they call me for an interview? I cant give them a specific date when Im going to be authorized to work in the US!
any advice?
there's too many problems jumping in my plate now!
You can apply EAD after 180 days of pending application. Dude I did my interview last March and still no decisions. ‍

I am waiting since last year. i did interview at Newark at Nov-2021. Its more than a year.
Same, Newark. I interviewed in the Varick Street office. But 5 months after interview I moved a bit so I wonder if it’s in NY now or still Newark is deciding about it. (I did change my address in USCIS website 5 months after interview when I moved).
