Those who can provide some useful info so as to fathom how long it takes for I-824 receipt notice and finally approval at VSC and which dates are being worked upon right now.

I sent paperwork 10/16/01. No word as yet - not expecting even a receipt for another 3 weeks anyway.
 
Strange..I dont see 824 approvals for August even,,

I applied in Sep..got recepit..but no approval yet..and i dont
see any 824 approvals either...any news ???
 
Probable delay in getting 824 receipts

I guess we cant go by the previous benchmark of getting a receipt in 3 weeks \'cos of the delay in mail. I noticed a week\'s delay in getting my credit card bills by mail. Going by the same, there might be a small delay in getting receipts too!

Filed: 8/2/01
Receipt: 8/20/01
Waiting on Approval
 
any I824 receipts received recently?

VSC processing times updates for nov does not have any mention of I824.Does that mean they have stopped processing.Anybody has any info about this.i sent mine on 9/20 , still waiting for receipt
 
applied 9/20..dunno whats happening with VSC

they still maintain they are current..but i do see people from
august waiting for approval..and havent heard many approvals

How do you know it is on the way? Did U call INS? Please give more details. What is the ND? Mine was sent on 9/24...Yet to receive the receipt.
 
I 824 Receipt

Filed on 09/20. I called up INS 11/09.
They gave me a receipt No. and said it was mailed on 11/07. Should receive it next week.
