There was a RFE on My spouse I-485. Our Attorney has already replied last week but the status has not changed, there are no emails from USCIS. Has anyone have this problem and should I wait or contact USCIS??

Nov 2003 Case Approved

Just checked my email. Myne and My Wife's cases were approved on 03/16/2005. What a big relief. Thanks a lot to Rajiv S Khanna for providing the aspiring immigrants such a nice forum. Thanks for all the forum members who helped and supported me in this long journey. Life has lots of ups and downs, all will end well. I wish and pray speedy approvals for all. Following are the details of my case.

PD: Sept 2001.
I140 and I485 RD: 11/14/2003
ND: 11/20/2003.
I140 AD: 03/2004
FP: 09/2004
RFE: 01/19/2005 - EVL, 2 months paystubs, 2 yrs W2, Medicals(Wife)
RFE Response received: 02/04/2005
LUD: 02/07/2005
AD:03/16/2005
Received Email:03/17/2005
LUD: 03/17/2005

Thanks GC092002. I called 1 time every day for 3 days, they were saying it was ready for adjudication but this was a week before last week. Nothing happened , i called the 4th time on the 4th day and a lady answered and was rude to me and asked me not to call VSC again saying it was not meant to check the status. The processing dates are well past my RD and i was calling them and she was giving me some BS stating that the processing dates were supposed to tell the public per USCIS that they will touch upon those cases which i certainly do not agree when they are approving some Sept 20004 cases. Anyways, long story short, alls well that ends well.

In RFE notice, it was written that they need atleast 14 days to work on response of RFE and applicant will notified within 60 days. 60 days of my RFE Response are completing on March 20 so I am going to do the same that you did. Call them again and again..

I got RFE on my I-485 on 01/10/2005.replied back on 03/11 see the lud changes below.

My I485 was approved on march 18th. I was on vacation so I couldn't post earlier.
Thanks to everybody for their support.
 
Approved after RFE

I initiated status enquiry for my I-765 and I-485 cases on 03/21/05 (after 60 days of RFE Response).

My I-485 has been approved but I've not received welcome notice. There is no change in online message or LUDs.
I got Renewal-EAD denial notice by mail on 03/28/05 in which they are saying this case has been denied because your I-485 case has been approved. The letter is dated 03/24/2005. I confirmed I-485 approval with Immigration officer on phone on March 29th. She said she can not give out the details when I asked when it was approved and whether welcome notice has been sent out.

Any comments on 365 and 540 days ??? its like NEW I485 petition :(

have you provided Evl, Fed tx etc,, in the initial petition ?

Yes i have provided Employment letter , 2 yrs Tax and W2 forms while filing I485. only new documents which i have included in RFE are H1B approval notices for last 5 yrs .

Any comments on 365 and 540 days on the response received notice pl ???

NO Approval yet any one in this situation please reply.

Can we share experiances as to how long it is taking for VSC to respond after RFE, i see in the forum it is taking anywhere from 2 weeks to ????. Please share experiances.
