Visa expired, I-94 good, Canada visit ok?

My apologies if this issue was already covered in the archives - I looked but couldn't find anything specifically with an expired Visa but a good I-94.

My question is as follows:

My wife, who is Korean, had a Visa to the US issued on 03APR2008 and good until 02JUL2008. The visa had an 'M' for multiple entries.

Upon landing at JFK she was given the I-94 with a stay until Nov. 25, 2008.

We want to visit friends in Canada for four days - she can get into Canada, but can she get back? Does the 'M' on her expired Visa extend to her I-94 as well? Basically we just want to be sure that if we take this trip, she'll be able to get back into the US.

We'll be going by car, if that makes a difference. Thanks greatly in advance for the help

As long as she does not stay for more than 30 days in Canada, she should be ok.

Thanks for the assist, Triple Citizen.

I was reading that it's important she not give her I-94 up to Canadian immigration, which makes sense. Without it she has no proof of how long she's allowed to stay in the US.

On the back of the I-94, however, it says that it needs to be given up to Canadian immigration. Will they be asking for it?

Again, thanks much in advance for any help.

For anyone who might be looking at a like issue:

US Customs & Border Patrol

I spoke to an agent who confirmed what Triple Citizen said - under 30 days is no problem.

The I-94 has to be kept though - the agent I spoke to said not to give it to Canadian officials for visits under 30 days. It's needed to get back in the US.

They will not ask for it. You will not even meet any Canadian officials unless you make a deliberate stop to meet them.
