USCIS RESPONSE:
RE: asylee I-485
LIN 00 070 XXXXX
He filed December 28, 1999. I suppose it is possible there are some that have been fingerprinted but not adjudicated. They are very accurate about keeping within the time frame. As of now to the end of September 2004, they will be working on cases received prior to November 16, 1999. The I-485s filed from November 17, 1999 to May 12, 2000, will start being adjudicated sometime between October 1, 2004 and September 2005.
The fingerprints should not be done too soon as they will expire in 15 months. This could be adjudicated any time between the October 2004 and September 2005 dates.
Is his address still XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ? IF NOT, get back to me. If he does not get a fingerprint notice within 6 months, have him get back to you after October 1, 2004.
