Finger Print Match warnings

Gurus,
Today I went for my FP and Biometrics for 485. Had to wait in line for 3.5 hours for my number. While taking the finger prints scanned for some of my fingures it showed red alert on screen displaying Warning: Match found. The technician tried it 3/4 times cleaning my fingures.
Did anyone else encounter this while doing their FP ? Are the applications delayed because of it ? Please post your experiences.

FP Code 3 was done on 12/01/2005 so that may explain the I485 LUD. Don't know about the rest. I hope I-140 gets approved without RFE.

No EAD or AP still

Applied for 140/485/765/131, as shown in my signature.

I see that most people with my application dates got EAD or AP. I got nothing. Is this something to worry abt.... or are there any one still waiting. Please post your messages.

I-140 (NIW) self petition for me
I-485 (Me, my wife, and my child) was applied concurrently on 09/29/2005. USCIS Nebraska receipt date was 09/30/2005 before retrogression kicked in.

So far:

1) I-140 approved on 11/16/2005
2) I-485 notice date for me and my wife 10/18/2005.
3) My child I -485 was returned first time (notice date on10/18/2005) saying that application not properly signed and asked me to sign and send it back leaving the notice on top. In fact, I prepared the document for my child and signed in the place “signature of person preparing the form”. However, the USCIS officer who reviewed my child’s application put a yellow sticker in the place I should sign. I did that and send it back to the USCIS as per the officer advice with new application fees. But this time my child application was returned back again saying that “An immigrant visa number is not readily available”.
4) In the meantime, I fixed an appointment and had (USCIS have not sent an appointment) Finger print/photo/signature with local immigration center on 11/10/2005 for me and my wife. But there is no LUD change after that.

1) Based on my above situation, if I resubmit the application (saying that the case improperly rejected) for my child (say this week), do you think that will help?
2) What is the advantage of my current I-140 approved? Do you think that will have any significance? (I don’t need EAD anyway as my H1 is valid for another 4 years)
3) Assuming that if I signed in the correct place in my child’s application, do you think make a big difference compared to current situation I face?
4) What will be the visa date for my child (Indian National)in this case?
4) Someone said that me and my child should not travel or I should not use EAD. But my wife can do all these. Is that true?
5) what bad and good things going on with my application so far?

when did you apply your I-140/485 and in which category?

my ND: 10/20/05. I did not get my EAD either,

how come we only not getting EADs? I think pretty much everybody who applied at the same time have gotten their EAD approvals.

my RD is: 09/30/05, ND: 10/20/05, still no approval, no LUDs

How to refile cases to VSC if they were sent back

Here is some useful info. wheremylc , u should ask your attorney to refile your papers - HERE is a article with the info

VSC Implements New Procedure for Resubmitted Petitions after Initial Improper Rejection
Cite as "AILA InfoNet Doc. No. 05120662 (posted Dec. 6, 2005)"

The Vermont Service Center has informed AILA liaison that petitions resubmitted to the Service Center after an initial improper rejection should have a brightly colored coversheet marked "Att: CRU Supervisor" and "Case Improperly Rejected" in large block letters. See the related link for an example coversheet provided by VSC. In addition to the coversheet, be sure to include with the resubmitted petition a letter setting forth the reason(s) why the case was improperly rejected.

Resubmitted cases should be sent to the following address:

USCIS/Vermont Service Center
ATTN: CRU Supervisor/Improper rejection
75 Lower Welden Street
St. Albans, VT 05479-0001

As a final note, VSC strongly emphasized that this procedure should only be used for cases that have already been rejected initially and should not be used in instances where the filer anticipates or fears an initial rejection.

My LUD got changed and my spouse didn't get change,

Is is normal, or something went wrong ? (Since, we went for different counter to take FP in USCIS office)

Thanks Chicchu. After resending the application, I received the receipt for me and my family except my son. USCIS resent his application saying that he has to sign. ( i signed his app. he is 14 years old). I am not sure whether I can resend his application to the address that you have given.

Cool, that is good news. I am sure your sons thing is much easy to deal with, I am not sure if you should send it to the address in the article or elsewhere. What did your attorney say ? I thought you said your papers came back for the second time, so did they accept the third time ? Ours, the attorney said checks are cleared. I don't think the recipts are received yet by him but will receive this week may be
