Unemployment benefits.

Have few questions.

1) If I worked in a state for few years, do I need to file for unemployment benefits immediately. Can I still file after few months and will they be available? Is there any expiration time for that?

2) If I move to another state immediately after job loss, am I still qualified to get benefits from the state where my employment ended?

3) If I do not apply for benefits immediately after job termination, how long are they still available? Do they expire if I won't apply in certain amount of time after job loss? Let say I want to apply after five months or one year. I want to see if I can get job first?

4) Once I take all benefits, and then If I get another job and get terminated again, are the benefits available for second time? Second time, does it need to meet some requirements in order to qualify for them?

5) Are the amount of benefits available, depends on the salary earned during employment, on state to state, and on length of employment?

6) What's minimum and maximim possible benefits available?

7) Everytime one loses a job, do they qualify for employment benefits and do we get for maximim of 26 weeks every time, even though duration of employment varies every time. What if one get laid off in two or three months? Are they still qualified for benefits again?

Thanks for your time.

Don't take this the wrong way, but a naturalization forum doesn't seem like the proper place to obtain answers about unemployment. Try googling unemployment forums or take a look at Yahoo Answers.

Sorry guys. The reason I posted here is, thought I can find experienced answers. I searched web first, but for some questions could not get right answers.

Can you please answer? Thanks. :)

It varies a great deal from state to state. You may get an experienced answer, that relates to a different state which is therefore not applicable to your situation,
