Hi AK,

Did you apply Advance Parole (AP) by E-file (online) or by Mail (PAPER) ?

Hi fast_gc_seeker,

You have different receipt dates for I-140 and I-485. How do you say it is concurrent filing. My understanding of concurrent filing of 140 and 485 is that they both will have same receipt date. Pls clarify?

Fast_gc_seeker, thanks . Mine is also EB3 ,Vermont and the filing date was Aug 11'th for 140 and 485 ?

But no news about approvals. How to know whether will i get qualified for FAST APPROVAL ? Any comments ?

when did you get your FP done..

EB2 140/485 ND: 07/28/2003

Waiting on 1st FP, I-140 & I-485 Approvals

Already have 2 AP's and EAD approved

Folks ,

My I-140 was sent out to VSC by the attorney's office on Aug 18th 2004 ,with a receipt date from \VSC of Aug 30th 2004. My Immigration Paralegal provided me a number ( EAC ) and I checked the status online yesterday.

It says my application for I-140 was approved and a Notice of approval was mailed on Sept 15th 2004. Knowing the long weekend in Sept is it possible that the application be approved in 10 days ???

Congrats Kp14. Could you give your details (company size, labor pdate, edu background, docs submitted to INS for ur 140/485). Did you send both 140 and 485 in the same packet. what abt EAD/AP?

Here are details you are looking for

a) Company Size : about 12000 in the US and 60000 worldwide.Top 4 Consulting company
b) Labor Date : Applied in NYC RIR JUly 10th 2001 Approved on JUly 14th 2004 ( 3 agonizing yrs)
c) Educational Background : BE ( MEch Engg ) Bombay University.
d) Going Consular so no I-485.Though now thinking
CAtegory : EB3

Did your I-140 get approved in 10 days too.That looks good.wanted to see my next steps as my marriage is planned in around Dec.So was not sure whether Consular is better or should I change to I-485

Not in 10 days..but little bit more than a month. received date is 9th aug 2004 and approve date is 13th sep 2004.

Good luck for your wedding..now i understand why you want to change to 485..

Guys,

My case was filed in VSC under EB3 category. Just 140 and 485 on Aug 11'th 2004. and i filed for EAD on Sept 8'th 2004. Advance Parole yet to apply.

1. Can you all please let me know whether i have any chance of getting 140 approved soon? When i read this forums messages looks like i should have already got my 140 approved. But when i see the BCIS processing dates it says April 2004. I am confused. Please help. :(

2. Also I-485 processing date shows Sept 2002. Can anybody tell whether the processing dates in the bcis website are correct or not ? :confused:
