TSC Tracker and Discussions - May 1st, 2002

Any Body talked to IIO. There is no approvals comming from TSC past 2+ weeks. After

march end TSC halted for 4 weeks and again stated in a big way for 2 weeks then again halted. It seems to TSC following first in last go( method than First in first go(FIFO). It is like waiting forever in TSC. Other centers still approving in now with latest security checks system. TSC on long vacations. Waiting since RD:9/4 and ND:9/14 EB3(RIR)
 
Finally Approved.

Just heard on AVM. Approved today.
EB2-RIR(Labour Substitution), RD 08-20-01, ND-09-05-01, AD-05-28-02.(Yep, a really long wait.)
Some of my colleagues with the same ND are still waiting.
This forum has been very helpful.

Has anybody ever heard that some of I-140 cases (including EB2/NIW)in Texas center were transferred to Vermont Center?
 
No, but what made you ask about this?

Have you heard any about that? from the statistics VSC is not doing better than TSC on I-140. Of course both statistics are not reliable. TSC seems not be doing I-140 except a few very old cases.
 
large nos transferred

There were very large nos of 140 applications transferred to CSC, VSC (dont know abt others) that enabled TSC\'s 140 backlog to come down from over 20000 (I think i recall a number that was close to 29000) to reasonable levels about 3 or 4 months ago.

Perhaps thats what you were referring to.

Transferring applications seems to be the only way TSC makes a dent in its cases! :)
 
Screwed up by TSC. Got RFE on 5/30 after Long wait of full 9 month. and

I do not know now for what. Can anybody have idea how much now average RFE cases taking after reply to them with required documents. Thanks for ur help. EB3(RIR) RD:9/7 and ND:9/14

Sorry to hear about your RFE. Now TSC is becoming notorious even with RFE cases. Months and months we don\'t see any RFE approval.

I-140 Approved on 5/30/02, but got lay off

My I-140 got approved on 5/30/02, but my position was eliminated on 5/21/02. However I am on payroll until 7/22/02. Can I continue with the green card process using consular processing? My understanding is if I get hired by my former company outside USA, then I can still continue with my green card process.

My case has been approved!
I checked with AVM today and knew my I-140 was approved on May 28,2002. EB2/NIW, RD: 09/13/01, ND: 09/13/01, AD:05/28/02. On TSCI-140 tracker, KY is my name. A long time waiting! Thanks everybody here for any helpful imformation. Good luck to all still waiting!

Receival Notice : November 5, 2001
RFE Sent : February 24, 2002
Then my Attorney took his sweet time to reply for the RFE.
RFE Replied : April 9, 2002
RFE Approved : May 24, 2002

Is the # of 250-325 days of processing business day or calendar day?

I just wonder what TSC means on that, no matter what it means, that\'s not reliable like their 46 or 88 days jokes.
I found there are very few people are using this forum on the TSC 140, much lower than that of NSC140. It\'s hard to see any news.
