TSC: Finally, our checks cashed!

For my wife and me, TSC received our applications on July 23rd, 2007.
Checks cashed on October 22nd, 2007.... Just about 3 months.

Does anyone know how long the fingerprinting notice will now take, now that the checks have been cashed?

Also, how much lead time do they give for the fingerprinting appointment?

Looks like I'm going to be able to make my trip out of the country after all.

I looked at the back of the check image, provided by the bank on their website. It wasn't clear enough to make out the receipt numbers, probably due to the lower resolution of the check offered on the website. Does anyone know if the bank may provide a high resolution check image if requested?

It's about time they started cashing the checks! I sent my N-400 to VSC about a month after you. Hopefully my check will be cashed soon. This is indeed good news.
 
Oh - good news at last! Thanks for letting us know.

TSC received my packet one week after yours, so I'll keep watch on my bank account this week.
 
Well even if they have cashed the check, you may not be able to track your case on-line for a while, and in all likely hood you will receive your NOA by then. In fact for those of us who were not caught in the 485 stampede, the on-line case would appear a few days after the NOA letter. You might just as well wait a bit more to see some real action.
 
Congradulations! It is really a good news as ours was received by TSC on the same date as yours. I have been busy this week to check the status yet and just saw this good news! I will go check our cheque right away! Hope it has been cashed..we do need some thread of hope.
