Travel while/after concurrent application(I-130/I485) pending

I am expecting my naturalization to be completed in 1-2 months. I will be filing concurrently for my wife and daughter(who are on H4 visa, valid up until 7/2012).
Can they go out of country and come back while there concurrent application is pending ? We are planning to go abroad in June, which will be about 2 months after filing this application.

So far as I know, people on H visa can travel, but somebody told me that as soon as I become USC, there H4 will expire.
I am confused.

as soon as you got your GC, their H4 expired. I suspect that they have been out of status for quite a while now.

I dont have GC. I am waiting for N400 to be finalised under MAVNI. They are not out of status for sure.

Since their H status is dependent on your H1 status, the minute you naturalize their H status terminates. They need AP.
