Congrats, You are one lucky person. It took me about 2 months to get a RD.
Is it just your isolated case that has got the RD so quickly?.

Looks like the backlog days are gone.I would still keep my fingers crossed and pray to GOD.
Now is this the RD or the date the case was transferred to the DOL, I think its the RD, can anyone please confirm.

don\'t be so happy...

the couple of days it has gone ahead were Saturday (10/20) and Sunday (10/21). Now they are processing 10/22

RD ?

this might sound like a stupid question but can someone tell me what an RD is ? i have a processing date on my labor app filed at SESA.. so i am guessing that is PD ?

RD is for DOL...not SESA

In your case, you are talking of SESA.. so there is only a PD. no RD.
When it is transferred to DOL, you will get an RD and then it will be relevant to you..

Its still Oct 22nd.

Did anyone check "BOSTON DOL" messages. They also get to know how many applications where processed each day. This is real good.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Which phone number did you call or which website did you go to get Oct 22? Is there a live person to talk with in DOL?
 
i 245 won\'t influence I-140 stage

Today i talked to my lawyer. He confirmed with me that i245 backlog won\'t influence I 140 stage. It is about 3-4 months to get approval for I-140.

I think it will affect the I-140 Stage and the 485 stage also....Look at the applications that were filed somewhere around the 20th of April, they are already in the 485 stages.
By the time we reach the 485 stage the dates would have regressed.
So by the time the PD become cuurent it will be another loooong wait.
Lets hope for a miracle though
 
You both are right

140-485 won\'t see delay until DOL starts pumping i245 cases in INS and I don\'t see it happening for atleast 18-24 months because by then EDD will take a loooong time to go thru non-rir hich amounnts to 95% of the i245 mess. By then I think people with PD of November, 2001

I hope my math is right :)

Let the 245i wait in line

Maybe what we should proposed is that INS (I140 and I485) start processing first the cases that are not 245i, and let them wait for the rest. There should be a advantage in being in legal status when you applied for the gc. Just my thoughts....
