Hello there

I received my Green Card on 08/14/2007, but am still waiting for my wife's. I want to contact TSC to see what is going on. How do I contact TSC? Can I get the phone number?

I also want to know about infopass. Can I take Infopass appointment and ask for the status?

Here is how to call TSC to get hold of an IO (so called POJ method).

As for infopass, make an appointment via the CIS Infopass Website.

In either way, note you may not get a helpful IO. In POJ, you may want to try several times.

Another good way is congressional inquiry. Contact your senators/congressperson and ask for their help.

We received the welcome notice email for my husband. I think his visa number was requested in the last fy but received from this fy quota. Details below.

Your spouse approved on 10/1/07 or 9/30/07? My guess, he must be alloted visa number in FY 2007. It is hard to predict move of USCIS !!

Thank you. I think it may have been approved on 9/30/07 as the email says "On Oct 1st, Welcome Notice mailed....". Anyways, no one can analyse and be sure of their actions..

I don't think there has been any approvals today...Still no excitement on any of the forums I have been visiting:eek::eek::eek:
 
My guess is also 9/30/07, you can verify when you receive actual document, it say when it was approved. In my case it email came on 24th August, but actual document says 23rd August.

They must have found one lucky visa number sticking under his/her chair for you. We need to see more of these coming then we can believe derivative gets visa irrespective of cutoff dates.

Yes, that's what happened to my case too. The "approval notice sent" email on 2/1, the approval date on 1/31.

Celeberations week

Probably this week is a celeberations week for uscis guys. New visas will assure them that they will have jobs for another year.
 
Got card ordered email...

Mine got approved on July27 2007. Wife's case was pending.
She called IO yesterday and told it should have been approved in 2006 Dec.
There was no LUD for the past 1 year. We did FP this may2007.
Today got card ordered email.

Hi,
My wife had raised SR on Aug 25th 07, and we received a response today (oct 4th). Its the usual "case under additional review - wait for 6 months" response.

hah - at least now we don't have to bother until march next year.
