hi guys,
I140 MTR/appeal was reopened on BCIS motion on 6-21-05,but on 6 july,the i140 was updated as a written notice was sent.any one had a same experience.do anyone know what the meaning was.the attorney is yet to receive it.please reply.

Could you share with us your case please?

Has your I140 denied?
When did you appeal?
Did it go to AAO after appeal?
Which service Center?

hi expeditc,
i140,485 denied on apr2,2005 due to evaluation mix up of 4year engg degree+1yr experience =BS here.so MTR/APPEAL was filed at VSC on may2.Case was reopened on june20 on BCIS motion but no approval or sent to AAO noted.ON july6 i140 message changed to `a written notice was sent about the case`.Our attorney called on JULY7 and they have mailed it to his address.So some time next week we might receive it. I will update.Could anyone advice on this .I f they had to deny they would send it to AAO right.

Thank for ur well wishes ,but lawyer has not received it yet he said might be tomorrow.But for ur case did the lud and message on i140 changed to approval right and then the employer and attorney received the approval.so i dont think for me it is a approval may be some documentation requirement or so expecting.please let me know the sequence when u got the approval after case was reopened on BCIS motion.thank you.

and I got e-mails + next couple days emp& lawyer recieved notices...

then your case also i am shure approval just wait for couple days.....
worst in the worst case they asked some other RFE, but finally they would approved......and I pray GOD for your

My lawyer got the letter and it said
`YOUR FILED CASE HAS BEEN REOPENED OR RECONSIDERING THE PREVIOUS DECISION ISSUED.A SEPARATE NOTICE WILL BE MAILED ONCE ALL THE ACTION IS TAKEN`
so it really is just informing that case has reopened.Did u get the same notification.Please mail.

I received smae thing first My lawyer & employer recieved I-140 reopend
after with in two weeks I got email for approvals lawyer & emp got approval notices and my I-485 they informed my case is opened U will recieved final notice.... like this
U will get final approval notice next week
just trust and faith in GOD

I-485 denial (June 20,2005)
I-485 MTR July22,2005

I did send the AC21 documentation (I have a new employer with same job and salary etc)..

Any one in same situation? What happens to the EAD documents? Has anyone tried to apply for H1B if so do we need to leave the country?

You do not need to leave the country as you have already filed MTR.
Regarding working on EAD, there are different opinions. Your EAD is also denied when 485 is denied. Some say that when you file MTR you can keep working on EAD. Some say that you need to stop working on EAD and wait untill 485 reopens, then you can start working on EAD.
