Hi ,
The online case status indicates that the center needs additional information on my i-140 , and that they have mailed the requirements for details on august 8th .

SO
* do i get the letter to my residence or does my company/attorney gets it ?
* could that be related to any thing on my accemdemic/DOB certificate/past emplyement details ? (in other words , what are i-140 RFEs generarlly related to ....)

I did not recieve the letter yet , nor did i call the attorney , thus i am little tensed .

What should i do .... ?

Please guide me .

i would think that thats excatly what the RFE document will tell you. others can make a random stab at it but there is no point in thinking about it before it reaches you.

Seeing that you have an attorney, i think he can guide you best in understanding the RFE and responding to it.

Hi Guys,
I am new to this 140 forum, I just got my labour approved and need to file 140/485. I am not sure what are all the documents required for 140 and 485.

Also I have one small problem.

I have come to U.S in 1998 July and started working from Sept 98 thru some other company, I got Approved Visa from that company in Dec 98. From July 98 to Nov 98 I was not in legal status(My old employer did not cancel the Visa, but I did not get even a single pay check in that period). Does any of you got similar problem like this? Please give me your advise on this.
