My I140 is finally approved. Just checked online status.

EB3/ semi concurrent

AD : Not yet ...
 
AP approved

My Advance parole got approved on july 29th ,

ND 140/485/765/131 : 05/06/03 (EB2/concurrent)

EAD AD : 05/26/03(now I get approved message after the card order message on 26th)

AP Ad : 05/29/03

140 waiting......
 
AP approved. RFE on 140

Already posted my details earlier. Some more movement in my forms. So updating..

AP - approved.
140 - RFE issued on Jul 28. (RD: Apr 14,03)
EAD - previosuly approved. Recd cards also.
 
EAD and SSn

My wife is on a H1 and she got her EAD .She already has a SSN .does she need to apply for any change to it???If she wants to switch jobs can she directly work on EAD or is there any modification needed for SSN

As per my knowledge, SSN is not changable. Once it is given, it is valid for ever, even though you may change your status.
Your wife can work with EAD, with same SSN

The SSN Number itself won't change.
In the old days (Before 3 -> 4 yrs), SSN's were issued even for H4 Visa holders. But they could not work on that SSN. I think you need to contact the Social Security Office to change the status on the SSN card. But it will still have the same Number.

SSN and EAD

Hi gc_03

I am in the same situation as yours. My attorney suggested not to use EAD until I140 got approved or else if you want to use it then asked to change the status of my wife to H4 again and use EAD. This is incase some problem arises at I140 stage then your wife would be on a legal status ie H4 (As H1 and EAD are used for the same purpose)

Let me know, what your attorney says.

Here is the latest spreadsheet. not much change.

i see visri has gotten approved for ND apr 18, LIN03160xxxxx. thats a jump. i am not sure if that is for all EB2 or only for concurrent since he has filed semi concurrent. :) anyway, we shd get seranki and chinj to check their status and report to get to know whats happening. anybody else EB2 out there please let us know what your status is. other people, who see this spreadsheet but arent on it please let us know your details at prashant_uppy@yahoo.com
otherwise Eb2 people in april keep checking status.

Strange!!

My AP is approved but my 140 and ead are still pending for so many days. I see 140's in april being approved but mine is still hanging around the "coffins" of INS. Anybody in the same boat??
