I notice that there were quiet a few approvals this week. things are revving up at NSC 140 dept! :)

As per BCIS online status My EAD was approved

My details are:
EB3, Concurrent
140/485/EAD/AP were RD 3/19/03 ND 3/21/03

FP to be done in 8/8/03
I-140 Rec# lin031345xxxx AD 7/17/03 No RFE
My wife EAD AD 7/21/03
My EAD AD 7/24/03

EAD Approved on MAY 17th,

EAD and AP approved

according to the BCIS website, my and my wife's EAD and Ap got approved on 07/24/03.

My case: I-140 ND is on 04/28/03, EB-1 OR, NSC. still waiting for approval. I-485/EAD/AP ND are on 06/09/03.

Both mine and my wife's ead got approved on July 25th....EB2/concurrent filing 140 still waiting.ND for all 05/06/03

Seems like Nebraska BCIS is on a frezy approving EADs. My EAD was approved 7/22/03 little more than a month after filing I-485 on 6/10/03

I am in the same EB2 boat with CP option though I am little later than you. Let us hope NSC adjusts the work loads a little bit based on the back logs on different categories.
 
Both RD & ND are June 11, 2003.

I am not in the time frame yet where I check the status everyday and there are many more guys who applied in EB2 before myself.

But never the less, it is troubling to see how the patterns are not consistent. When I opted for CP, I have monitored the timeframes, in most EB2 cases (incl my friends), it was 2 to 3 months. Now, it is not the same anymore. It is hard to beleive, but it is true that the Non-Concurrent / CP cases are moving at a much slower pace. (It seems even worse for EB3, CP).

Any way, I do hope that NSC adjusts the workloads based on the backlogs in different categories and soon we will see some consistent patterns. Hopefully, we will see some improvements in this area pretty soon.

Did you opted for CP aswell ?

Today i have checked my status, They sent for REF, I dont know what would be the problem,Can i call BCIS Phone no for the REF?instead of waiting 14 days?

If any body got the ref could you share your exp

I applied for my in July

ND :July 8,2003 (EB2 Concurrent)


My EAD got approved yesterday. That was pretty quick!

The status says

On July 29, 2003, after approving your application, we ordered a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

I got the I-140 approval.

My EAD: 75-90 days
Wife's EAD : Card ordered July 25 2003.

I didn't even bother checking up to now, figured it'd be another month at least. After I saw the previous poster with early July date, I figured I'd check. Mine doesn't matter anyway, I'm H1B with LOTS of time, but wife can work, thats pretty good.

Anybody know about how long between approval and receiving EAD card in mail?
