I checked on the website and heres what it says -
"...we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed."

Anybody gone through an RFE? Any guesses?

requested docs
- 2002 W2s, Audited bank statements, etc etc. also asked to get details about each and every I-140 pending applications for the employer.

Thankyou very much for the detailed information. I enquired with Trustforte and the fees has been increased to $85. Anyway I have sent them the transcripts and the degree certificates for both my B.Sc (Electronics) and M.C.A degrees.

As you indicated, yes I did a B.Sc in Electronics and then M.C.A., Also you indicated about Form G-29 to authorize the atorney to represent the petitioner. I did not see a Form G-29 in the BCIS website. Instead, I noticed a Form G-28. Is this the same form as you mentioned?.

RFE on I-140 within 15 days

Believe or not. Its true.

It may be because of other pending I-140 filed in Apr, may or june. I dont know. My RFE specifically talks about my case only. But they have requested all proofs for other pending cases too.

Sorry, for privacy reasons I can't give you my exact receipt number.

Will post the reply and response as when it happens.

Is I-140 based on Finger Print ?

Hi all

Please clarify me. I heard something through my friend that 1-140 case will be opened by BCIS, only after finger print is done.

Is that right ?

My I-140( EB3 , Concurrent ) notice date is June 12, 2003, I didn't get my Finger print notice. But my I-485 on line status says that there was an insufficient payment for Finger Print.........

We didn't get any notice from BCIS regarding this. So we sent another $ 50 check and BCIS returned that check. On line status still show the same thing. Do I have to worry about this ?

actually i am waiting for my EB3-RIR-CP 140 and was happy to see a 5/22 Rd getting cleared.

the question is not EB3. This question is CP. when you opted CP you can file for I 485. please clarify....

I have filed under CP(Concurrent Processing) not counceller processing.

As far as this board is concerned CP = Consular Processing and so you would have done better to choose a different set of initials for your Concurrent Processing.

Hello,
Thank you for the reply. It addressed my concerns.

Please let me know if the following would work as a backup plan;
1. My H1- B visa expires Sep 2003 (this month)
2. I have already applied for extension.

Since I have opted the Consular route, is it a good idea to wait for the results before getting my H1 - visa stamped in India.
In other words, can I take my H1 extention papers fo visa stamping after I get rejected (God forbid) in the Consular interview. Or, does the H1- B extension approval automatically get invalidated because of a subsequent Green Card rejection.

Please throw some light.

What does Filing Concurrently actually mean , Does the lawyer actually file for the I-140 first , gets the receipt number and then attached this receipt number while filing for 485- , AP and EAD .

Can someone please explain ,
