Track folks who applied in last week of June

Hi Guys,

I just noticed that the receipt number or the LIN number for my wife's 485 and 765(EAD) is the same number. Is it a normal thing or the USCIS goofed up assigning the right receipt numbers?

You should call up and clarify. I have never heard such a thing. Every application generally gets assigned a unique case number.

Thats funny. You receive FP appointment but not receipts. We have received Receipts but no FP yet.
BTW, when is your FP date?

Any Receipt Notices filed after Jun 25th at NSC and transferred to TSC

My application reached NSC on Jun 27th morning. I am still waiting for receipt notices. I called the USCIS customer service. They could not find my case in the system. There is a good chance that my case might have been transferred to TSC because my I-140 is approved from TSC in mar '07.

Is there anybody with similar situation and got receipts for a case filed at NSC in the last week of Jun and transferred to TSC ?

My observation on trackitt.com is that TSC is processing all cases in order of original receive date (receive date at NSC, if it was transferred from there). That means, you are in line with other direct TSC filers.

TSC is currently sending out notices for apps that reached there on June 22, 25 and 26th. So hang in there, yours should be reaching you in a couple of weeks :eek:
 
How long to wait for physical Receipts from NSC ????

How long does it take to get I-485 physical Receipt from Nebraska Service Center ?

Online status of my Receipt number says that receipt was mailed on Jul 24th,
until now I did not get physical paper receipts.

If there is anyone who got receipts recently from NEBRASKA and case was filed in the last week of June ?
 
Yes, i filed on 26th jun and received receipts on 26th jul, they mailed out on 21st jul.
So probably u will receive either today or tomorrow
 
Got the receipt Numbers from back of check

Today I observed that my checks are encashed by USCIS. I got the receipt numbers from the back of the check. On USCIS website, it says application received on July 31st 2007

My Application was reached NSC on 06/25/2007 at 11:00 AM & my file got transfred from NSC to TSC. Since I am having receipt number starting with SRC****** & not LIN****

My I-140 was also approved from TSC.

I am in similar situation. I got the receipt numbers from the back of the checks and looked up the online status. The Online status shows that the receipt has been mailed on July 17th, but I did not get it yet.

Does USCIS send receipts to applicant and/or the lawyer?

I am worried sick with all possibilities of things going wrong.
Is it possible that USCIS has got my address wrong? This will be more headache.
Another worse thing could be that my lawyer used my checks to file someone else's application (s**t happens) , then I am completely screwed. I should start packing my bags.

If you were enforced to sign G-28 form, every receipt goes to lawyer and only to him/her. You are in favor of your lawyer if you get your receipts or not. Some lawyers may have concern and not to give them, if this is the case just say that to your lawyer that you are going to have international trip and you need I-485 receipts to return back.

I got my I-485 (and only I-485) receipts yesterday in the mail from my lawyer. All other receipts were not included, I think the lawyer keeps them.
