FP Code 3 Completed: Oct 25, 2005
No LUD changed after FP.

Called TSC last week one of the lady told, my background check is cleared on same day of FP. Again called yesterday and today they are saying my bakground check is pending. I do not know what's goin on? Whom should I trust.
BTW my PD become current starting of May 06.

Any thoughts/suggestions on my case.

I suspect they are not giving right answers. Same thing happened to others too. I guess we have find our name check status through senator/Congress man/ or lawyer.

Hi KJ

I did not see any LUDs prior to the approval.It is direct approval.

You might receive your approval today. You can find TSC number which is available on your receipt.

What is surprising me is, all the approvals have been for cases whose PD is later than ours, atleast mine, many approvals have been for cases with PD in Nov/Dec 2002. Hard to predict on what basis do they pick the cases for approval.

Seeing the trend, my guess is, those who didnot have RFE are getting approved. And then RFE cases are being handled. so all those who post approval message could you mention if you received RFE in 485 filings?

apart from RFE it also depends if the name check(s) on a particular file are done or not. It may be useful to know this information.

yeah that would be nice, except that i called tsc 4 weeks ago and the lady said name check is not done call back in a week and i called and this lady yelled at me for calling in a week but she said that name check was done long ago. Dont know whom to trust. i called yesterday and as soon as whoever picked up the line, that person hung up on me. i couldn't help laughing. if they would have told me the correct info the first time i wouldn't be bothering them. morons!

Couldn't hold on any longer after skapa said that TSC lady was really nice. I called the TSC and I asked her if my background check has been completed. She made me hold for couple of minutes and then she said that my case is in the pile of cases ready to be reviewed and waiting to be assigned to a review officer. It was sent to that pile on may 1st. She said that it will be picked as soon as the review officer is done with skapa's case. To add to my anxiety I can't access my email today.
