dear all,
my I-589 asylum application has been pending for more 100days and i was interviewed more than than three weeks ago.i have not heard anything from USCIS yet.i have the plan to write a letter to the USCIS office.my questions to this forum members are:
1.to whom i shall write the letter?is it AO or director of the office?
2.what are components of the letter?
experienced forum members suggestions are highly appreciable.

First letter should go to the AO. If the letter does not lead to a resolution then send a second letter to the asylum office director.

However, if the interview took place only three weeks ago, do you think you are a bit impatient?

it is to early. u still have to wait. u don't want to bug ur asylum officer and the supervisor. be patient. u will receive a decision soon.

Welcome to the club. Some members have been waiting for months and years for initial decision.
Aliwa, for example, has been waiting since 7/08. He/she doesn't even know what the initial decision is.

It is too early for you to send a letter.
