TN applying for GC - police Clearance question

Hi all,

While filling out the I-485 I came across the "police clearance" instructions and they are not very clear.

I'm here on a TN and married a citizen... my question is:
- Do I have to get the clearance?

The instructions say to read the "I-485 supplement" and see if you are in a special category.
Any feedback?

No, if you are filing for 485 (adjustment of status) from within the USA and living in USA. Which is true in most cases.
