Hi,
My wife has interview next week. She had a ticket in 2006 and we paid the ticket online and never went to the court. It was doing +14 on I-285. Today we went to the court (Dekalb- Georgia) recorders court to pick up the certified court disposition letter and we got it.
However some of the things are suspicious and I am worried whether it will be a affect her interview.
1. In the Certified Court Disposition letter, on the back page it says for "Other actions" and it was ticket "Bond forfeiture" and the sentence amount/forfeiture was for the amount of the fine. (it was around $124)
2. On the front side, there is a big stamp saying "CONTEMPT $100.00"
The clerk did not mention anything else. Since there was a big crowd, I did not ask the clerk on what the "Contempt" meant.
Does it mean that not showing up to the court is a contempt.
