I also changed the address and both me and my lawyer got the FP notices.So dont worry you will get them soon.It depends on which area u live and the aos center in your area.

Regarding 140 i dont know we are kind of unfortunate or they have big RFE so that they are thinking of how to send them :rolleyes:

I am just a bit apprehensive that I have not got the FP(biometrics) as yet. I did my 1st FP on 8th Dec. So trying to to find a reason. Maybe I should just relax.
Also I have seen that about 3/4 cases of each day in Nov, not touched. Either they are with the same officer, or they plan to approve them concurrently.
One of my friend had applied in VSC in Jan, 2004. His both 140/485 got approved within minutes after waiting for 17 months. The key here is he was not aware what is happening with his case, since 80% of the cases were approved around his time frame, 140/485 published processing time had crossed his filing date.
Moral of the story: Delay need not necessarily translate into RFE. But the tough part is waiting and wondering 'Why only me?'
Well I hope we all get our GC soon without RFE :)

What you say might be true. I had been asking the same question..Why is it happening to only me. But probably we might have a silver lining in there. As you said the toughest part is waiting. Hopefully we all gets overs cleared soon.

140 Rfe

I got an RFE for my 140, on 08/23. I am happy that they touched my case. But apprehensive what it could be and how to go abt it.
My lawyer will get the RFE in couple of days I guess, so cannot provide much information at this time..

The RFE can be educational or ability to pay. I have 3+3 degree and filed under EB2, do not know what is filed in LCA. :(.
 
I got the I-140 RFE e-mail on 08/23, but no details on the RFE yet. How long does it take to receive the RFE? It's a substitution case and RD is 10/18/04

I have applied for my 8th year extension based on the pending I-140. Will the RFE on the I-140 have any effect on my H1-B extension? Thanks.

Finally received the email of approval for I-140. Now wondering about I485!!
The biometric(code2) was done in May,05.

Well I did not do anything for them to touch my case. I guess we just have to wait patiently..
