Those who applied in oct/nov 2004

No Positive sign for my case

I don't see any positive sign for my I-140 / I-485. No LUDs. Any idea? Thanks
 
My I-140 was approved on March 30,2005. ND is Oct,07,2004. Till now I didn't get the approval notice. We can call CIS only after April 30th. Anybody got the approval email and not the notice by postal mail??

What should I do next ??
 
140 approval notice goes to attorney. Check with your attorney.

Finally Got I-140 and I-485 Approved

I have been a silent participant in this forum over the last year.

Here are my details (EB2/A big semi-conductor company in Bay area) -

Labor - Applied : Feb - 2002; Approved : Aug - 2004

I140/I485/EAD/AP - RD - Oct 15th 2004; ND - Oct 21st 2004

AP - Approved - Dec 10th 2004.
EAD - Approved - Dec 30th 2004.
I140/I485 - Approved - April 25th 2005.

I140 - I called the emergency number last week (4/20), as usual I didn't get any info but the updated date changed (4/22).

I485 - Updated date changed only once after finger prints (3/24).

This forum has been of the greatest help and source of information all through this long and frustating process.

Still 50% pending as of today ...
By pending I refer to those cases with the same original msg "Your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was received on ..."

Looking on the 140 LUD in your case, looks like something is cooking and it does not look to be RFE.

I am waiting to hear in your case - Approved - 140/485 together.

I think, if it was RFE, they could have sent it earlier. Just my thought.

GC_Gone_case, I checked with my lawyer. He also didn't receive it. But he told we can call CIS only after April 30th to allow 30 days. In the message it says within 14 days we should get it.....Where did the approval notice go???? I will update you guys on May 2nd.
 
You do not have to wait for 30 days. As you have said, the message clearly says if you do not get it in 14 days, you must check.

Generally, it comes within a week.

My sugesstion would be to talk to USCIS immediatly, do not wait till May 2, there is no logic behind 30 days theory in this case.

Hi I_Need_GC_now,
I had similar experience. My EAD card was not delievered.
When I called 800 number they asked me wait for 30 days.
It was returned undelievered due some post office mistake.
I called 800 number after 30 days again and requested redelivery.
Nothing happened.I waited for three more weeks and got fed up
and finally called emergency number.
I got my card within 10 days after that call.
 
Thanks for the suggestion Gc_gone_case and lateONGC. Anyway for I-140 my lawyer only can call. So let him call on May 2nd.
There is no LUD change or message change for my 485. I don't know if it is name check or not. Let me wait and see....

FP received by USCIS at Nov 11
LUd on MY I485 April 12, 2005
LUD on i485 of my spouse March 21, 2005
lud ON i140 ( Oct 25, 2004 )

People in my company who have applied in EB3, one month after me have got their I140 . ( And I was thinking that EB2 was faster )

I am not sure what this means .
When I talked to my alwyer, I was told that he cannot send a query till the processing date reached at least after one month of my receipt date .

Has anybody else who applied in Oct got their I140 / I485 approved

Hopefully the next JIT will allow you to file enquiry.
I am waiting the next JIT to file enquiry too ...

If CSC is not late for JIT it should be in 7 days (May 5th). I am pretty sure that the processing dates posted will be beyond 11/22/04.

BTW is it 30 days from RD or ND?
