Hi work on 485,

it's nice to hear that your got your 485 18 days after your I140's approval! It brings me some lights. Did you get any RFE?

My case is semi-current filed. 140 Nd Aug 22, 04 and 485 ND Sep 16, 04. I got RFE on I140 on 03/14/05, RFE was replied on 04/04/05, I140 Approval day was 04/07/05, no any information on my 485. I am facing layoff now. I check my email many many times a day to hope see my 485 approval. So, frustrated now! any way, thank you for sharing your information! Good luck!

Do not get frustrated. You can use AC21. I hope you have got EAD.

Many of us are going thru same wait for GC. My 140 was approved on 4/1, concurrent filing ND 10/5/2004...no news on 485 yet.

I am sure most of us will get it soon. Best of luck to all. Keep smiling...:) :)

I got email from USCIS requesting more evidence for my I140 . dont know the details about what more evidence they want .Can anybody in this forum help in knowing what RFE i can expect and how much time it takes to get RFE notice ?

Have you sent all the required documents. Some times we miss to send the Employment letter from employer or education evaluvation etc., Please recollect, if any document has been missed to send with I 140.

Congrats! Hope you get 485 in next few days.

I noticed that many people get approval email off office time like mid-night and weekend. Either they work overtime or their computer system does certain complicate algorithm to figure out the approval notice which take hours! Weird.

I think that I'll be in the same boat as well, my I-140 is taking too long (RD-OCT 5th). Anyways, I got an RFE for my AP and it took them more than two month to approve my case...HOWEVER I've read somewhere in this forum (I don't know where) that as soon as you send whatever they need, they could process your RFE within a couple of weeks...Don't worry, you are almost done never the lessssss you doing the GC FOR FUN anyways!!!!

Your lawyer can now send an inquiry since current processing dates are 30 days beyond your RD (I140).

I came to work this morning and was amazed to discover that both my 140 and 485 are approved! This has been a great forum - thanks everybody. Here are my details;

Congrats imrang! I got an RFE on my I-140.

Hopefully, will get an approval in the next few weeks.

First I was thinking among the same lines for the remaining open October cases.

But then, if there was something wrong with your application, would they not have RFEed it by now? Any chances that they are working on name check, verifying your educational info or something?

Anyway, it's a silly guessing game, but I can't help it...

(a) Did you apply 140 with "original" sub-LC or copy of sub-LC?
(b) Was I-140 approved on this LC before?
(c) What's the priority date on I-140 -> Notice date of your 140 or Sub-LC date?

I must agree with you about the fact that they are most probabely doing the name chack? is there anyway to find out?

This case has been approved. On April 21, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283

Yes. It looks like approval. I still cannot believe it

I140 received on Nov 1 (I-140 ND Nov 4)
No RFE and No LUD on I140 still today
Own labor and never called USCIS for anything
EB3 semi concurrent

: Yes, with approved original sub-LC of layoff person.
(b) Was I-140 approved on this LC before?
: No
(c) What's the priority date on I-140 -> Notice date of your 140 or Sub-LC date?
: I-140 ND was 10/18/04. I don't know about sub-LC. My company attorney wanted to file I140/485 with that LC, because my original LC(ND 4/22/02) was not approved at that time.

Hi all

This group was really helpful. What is the next step. Do i get a I140 approval letter. If yes, do they send me the letter directly.

How long it will take to get 485 approval. My labour was applied state around September 2003. What is average wait time.

Is there anything else i have to be careful about.
