This is the weirdest case ever!

Hi to all
I am new on this site but hope someone would be able to help me.I am a naturalized citizen since 2002.My spouse and 2 teen boys came here in 2002 too but WITHOUT INSPECTION.They have no visa,stamp or proof of their entry.Don't ask how but due to family issues after waiting for like 8 yrs.my spouse panicked and just jumped the gun.Landed here with just driving across the border.
Is there any way that they can be legalized or do I have to wait for the new Immigration bill to happen?

Nothing weird about your case really. However Entering without inspection is a big bar to getting a Green Card. You need to talk to an immigration lawyer about your options.
 
So from where (Mexico or Canada) did they "just drive across"? Did they come across the Canadian border and verbally claimed to be Canadian? If that is the case (and forgive me if it is not), then they were inspected. They still obtained entry fraudulently, but they were still "inspected".
 
Fortunately or unfortunately they were never verbally asked nor inspected at the port of entry.They just managed to slip through undetected.
What do you think now?Isn't it kind of bizzare?
 
You need to provide us with more details about their POE crossing. What border was it? Did they stop at a booth to be questioned? How did they slip "undetected"? I have personally crossed a post between Quebec and Maine where during the nights there is no one at the crossing. You are supposed to stop your car at the post, pick up a "hotline" phone and the border inspector on the other side "inspects and admits" you.
 
Thanks Mr.Ghori for all your interest and replies.This is what I have been told by many people before.It really hurts.That means we have to wait for the new law too.
