The Employees took these couple for granted and stripped away their rights and this should be a lawsuit and could go to a Immirgation Judge.
This is an area that is often misread and misunderstood(dare I say misapplied by the CIS). By policy, an officer is allowed to ask whether the marriage has been consummated. Anything beyond that, is outside the scope of authority. Questions about frequency, location, sexual positions, sexual performance etc. are inappropriate and against policy. Nevertheless, we hear accounts of these being asked sometimes. Few immigration officers would try that in front of an attorney though, since they know what the possible ramifications will be.
I suggest the OP take an attorney with the next time. It's hard to protect your rights if you don't know what they are.
