I think, newly recruited officers have started working and we will keep on looking case approvals in the range of 0-10 months period of gap. If you are lucky on TSC scale you will be nearer to 0 month and if you aren\'t you will fall nearer to 10 months.

I am waiting over the year but no luck. Yesterday first time I got through to talk to IIO but after holding 1 hours I disconnected my own, I knew it was 5 PM in center and no body cares to answer.

My case is still pending as of yesterday AVM check.

Approved, and a question

My husband\'s case:
  Category: EB2 (Regular)
  PD: 02/12/99
  RD: 06/19/01
  ND: 07/26/01 SRC-01-228-xxxxx
  AD: 02/27/02
You can list him as "dh" in the tracker.

Now I have a dilemma. My I-140 was approved earlier and is with NVC. I\'m now waiting for Packet III to arrive. My husband\'s I-140 opted for AOS. Here are my questions:

1. If we both file Packet III (with me as principal) as well as I-485 (with him as principal), will INS or NVC consider case has been abandoned?

2. Is there a timing issue, meaning what will happen:

(1) If Packet III is submitted (me as principal, my husband as spouse) first, then I-485 (my husband as principal, me as spouse) is filed, will CP case be cancelled; Or

(2) If I-485 is filed first, then Packet III, will I-485 be cancelled.

Thanks in advance. Please don\'t critize me. I don\'t intent to abuse either of the system.
 
Go ahead with just one.

Per Ron Gotcher, there should not be more then one case for thrid stage. You may hold AOS filing.

When does one receive approval notice

I heard that my i-140 EB2 ND 9/4/01 was approved on Feb 22 on AVM.
But so far my attorney says they have not received any aproval notice.
How long does it take to get the approval notice from TSC ? Could the AVM be updated by mistake? Do I consider my case approved or not ? I am scared now. Please help with your suggestions.

INS called lawyer AOS or CP?

I posted this last week, since I did not receive any responses, am posting it again.

My case is EB2(RIR) RD 10/11/02, ND 11/08/02. Last week my lawyer received a call from INS asking whether I wanted to do AOS or CP although my application clearly mentioned AOS. Does this mean my case has been assigned? Also, do you all think TSC has started looking at Nov. EB2 cases now? Please somebody shed some light on this.

Multiple I-140s

Can somebody file multiple I-140\'s from different employers in same or different service centers? I am working for a company on H1B and got my labor approved. They are about to file my I-140 and they will be filing a 485 after that. To be on safe side, I am willing to file another labor at a different state with a different employer. I would like to file a separate I-140 based on the new labor and do consuler processing based on that I-140.

Is it possible? Any issues? Anything to care about?

I checked AVM last night. It is said "this case has been approved on 2/27/2002."

When I checked it on 2/28/2002, It was still playing the same old message. I guess they updated either on last friday or saturday.
