Did you notice a LUD after namecheck was cleared?
No. Before approval I had to LUDS one was Aug. 18 ... the mass LUD that many experienced and one when they issued my last fingerprinting notice.

i guess USCIS learned to not bother people for FP?
what i don't understand is, a person's finger prints never change with time, why would they put an expiration date on FP? ....
I wish you luck with this, ynot. My 2nd FP is tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated on my case.ynot said:I think if your Fp has expired and you receive a renew, this definetely means your security chekc is cleared at least inVSC.

karatekid said:Dear all.
I am new to this forum. I just found out at an InfoPass interview this morning (Boston) that my name check was pending although my wife's has already been completed. I jumped over from the VSC/I140/I485 thread so I am new here.
Could someone please tell me about the NC issue and what I could try to do about it? How do I follow up on my NC with FBI for ex?
Any help would greatly be appreciated. My fingerprints were done in Aug of 2005 and nothing has happened since then (except a couple of LUDs w/o messages after that). Details of my case are below...
Thanks !
ynot said:Are you the primary applicant? If so, then your wife has to wait for your name check to be cleared before proceeding. If not, your wife will get her green card soon. Looks like your name check got initiated just more than one year ago. Not to discourage you, lots of people on this thread have been waiting more than two years( mine is already 2 year 10 months, and still counting...the primary in my case just got cleared name check this month)

Could you tell me how your spouse's name check got cleared this month after 2 years and 10 months?
Thanks.
mwl said:Hi, my name check has been pending since Jan 04, and my case is now approved!!!. I had to file a lawsuit to expedite the name checkWhy, when your case has approved?. If you have questions please send me a private message.
I am wondering if waiting more than 3 years alone gives you a sufficient ground to sue them. I am getting close to the 3 year mark myself and thinking of suing too, but I'm not sure my motives would be convincing to them. I don't have a family here, I don't have to travel, no sick relatives abroad... Yes, my freedom is very limited, but that's still an efemeral notion.desi_boy_usa said:...I don't think they have a ground to argue...
