Stuck in Name Check??? Let's track it

Procedure for a lawlsuit

Can anyone please explain the procedures for filing a mandarus again USCIS and FBI on name check issue? I have been waiting for 33 months for my name check, I cannot bear with it any longer. I have kept the receipts for my communications with FBI, USCIS and CIS Ombudsman, and after more than a year of struggling, I want to sue them.

But my lawer thinks NC "probably" starts after USCIS receives
Finger Prints results. I guess there is no consistency here.
So we can say pretty safely that NC starts "probably" sometime
between I-485 ND and sometime after finger prints RD.

no because i did my FP on 12/28 while my NC started according to FBI on 11/23.. which is 10 days after my RD.. plus name check is checking ur name and DOB against FBI records... it has nothing to do with ur FP
 
How to find NC Initiation date / Status of NC

Can anyone tell me how find the Name check initiation date as well as the status of Name check application. I send a mail to fbi several months ago but it looks like it got sucked in a black hole....

I found out after my employer wrote a letter to director Hooton at the FBI... he called to check on the letter and director Hooton's sectretary told him that they have nothing to do with namecheck... then she transferred him to a lady which he asked, since when the name has been pending? and she told us... then he asked if I am in the backlog and she sayed yes :( :( :( :(

Stuck in Name Check for 3 years

As per USCIS and FBI, my name check was submitted to FBI on 01/06/2003 and is still pending!!! It's been over 3 years.
I got letter from FBI after I did FOIPA request that I have 'no records' against my name, what do i do now?? any suggestions?

Please enlight me: what's the purpose of being stuck in the name check for so many time?

I see this simple: If you are a " criminal' the guys should knock your door as soon as possible. why giving a criminal the chance to move free along this country?

Maybe i am a little naive but, if your name check have a ' hit" ; shouldnt be cleared really soon to prevent a criminal acting freely?

I agree that it defies the common sense, logic says that a hit should be checked ASAP as one is dealing with suspect pool.

But then the real world understanding kicks in - historically they may not have found anybody bad enough and dangerous who want to wait for so many year for GC, so why bother to expediate, it just becomes an administrative face saving process.
 
I just called my congressman, my name check is still pending. I was so irritated. It is too naive of me to think FBI will do their job eventually. It seems this is never going to happen.
