What can we do to expedite name check?

I already enquired congresswomen/senator/mail/fax to fbi?

what else can we do?

1. Contacted FBI by e-mail on 07/08/2005 No response yet
2. Sent letters to FBI 0n 09/26/2005 No response yet
3. Contacted Congress man on 09/23/2005 No response yet
4. Sent FAX to FBI on 07/15/2005 No response yet
5. Sent FOPIA on 09/29/2005 No response yet
anything else I am missing.

I have learned previously that Name can get stuck due to common names but my first as well as last name is not very common indian name. Is it still bad for FBI?
 
it is the problem. no one knows exactly how FBI conduct their name checks. no one can inquery them and get immediate response. :(
 
I live in GA and need to contact the right senetor. Cna some body let me know how to go abou it.
My employer contacted the congressman. Neither the employer nor the congressman seems to care or bother.
Please let me know
 
Called my congressman's office, his assistant told me that she called FBI office and they put her request into a response pool, have no idea what time can get response. I am going to check with her 3 or 4 weeks later if no news from FBI.
 
called congressmans office who called fbi and uscis. Uscis states that the name check was sent approximatley two months ago though we filed 485 in february and that it may take upto four years due ot the large number of people in line and not to call them or make inwquiry thru the congressman for one year. FBI I believe told the congressmans office that they have received it and it is in line to be processed. So I am stuck probably for a long time
 
Would you please tell me what's the security check status request letter formate? Is there any example? Thank you very much!

I think they started to store FP at some time in 2004. So everybody who did first FP before 2004 (and may be in few first months of 2004) have no FP stored and need to go for 2nd FP after 15 months. People who did 1st FP in the second half on 2004 (and later) should have their FP stored and if they are not approved within 15 months, they are not supposed to do 2nd FP. CIS will just submit the same FP to FBI for a new FP check.

This doesn't seem to be true since I just did the 2nd FP and biomatrics this morning, and I had the 1st FP done in July 2004. Just FYI.

Also, the gap between the 1st FP and the 2nd FP today is definitely less than 15 months. Just FYI again.
