Stuck in Name Check??? Let's track it

Hi, IBelieve:

My 2nd FP is done before 1st FP expires, it is actually biometrics, take 10 FP, and picture, signature. I do not know where to find the code 2 or 3. But I know that biometrics probably will be used to print a green card. Therefore, i do not have to go for stamping if I do not want to.
 
slt, CSC cleared about 25 485 filed in 05/05, Is CSC getting the NNCP faster???

how they claim 90% NNCP done in 1 week. also how the CSC was clearing 485 in 90 days, even now if you look at the statisitcs at least 25 485 cleared by CSC filed is 05/05

In my case they have sent the request to FBI within two weeks of the 485 application. Considering the same is true for you indicate that you are stuck there for a long time. anyway keep us posted when you receive the email from FBI.

Latest email from FBI, still pending

A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database revealed that a
request from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for you
was received on July 10, 2003, and is still pending. Due to increased
national security concerns, in December 2002 to early 2003, the USCIS
submitted an additional 2.7 million name checks for processing to the
FBI. Although 99.8% of these cases have been finalized, our efforts to
complete the remaining requests continue. This has unfortunately delayed
processing of other requests.

While I cannot give an exact date for completion of this review, please
be assured that the results will be made available to the immigration
authorities as expeditiously as possible.
 
everyone should file a lawsuit, they claim 99% done in 3mths,looks 99% pend for 3 yrs

How to find out if USCIS has initiated name check?

I have filed I-485 after 140 got approved (Eb1). ND and RD is Aug 5 05. I saw a LUD on my 485 after 3 days after the ND. Does it mean USCIS has sent out for name check? or how you guys knew NC intiated date?

second background check

Update for my case:
my name check is pending since oct 2003, case is at local office after interview. I was there on Friday asking about the status, and got the answer: still pending. And the officed added also:
another background check was submitted on July 19, 2005, because the 1st was pending so long....
Anyone had that experience? would that help or in contrary they would now wait for two checks???
