Hi,

I have two siblings and My wife has one. I would like to file for them and move back to India. Question is what is expected to happen when they get their numbers in 10-12 years and I am in india that time. I know that I need to have a income and tax proof but do I need to be here that time?

Thanks,

The one who files an I-130 must also file an I-864. The I-864 requires the sponsor to have a U.S. domicile. Read the form instructions on that point.

You don't have to be here for the 10-12 years, you can come little before they are coming, another requirement is that you need to be alive and breathing to have a trouble free immigration for them and even incase of your demise there is a way they can immigrate.
Don't know what the laws would be 10-12 years down the road but for right now it should work.

How to you plan to have sufficient income to sponsor 3 families plus your own if you are not working in the US? Long absences from the US workforce are not to your advantage in obtaining employment.

Your question is a classic reason that chain migration should be revised. Filing for siblings is for family reunification. You do not need them to move to the US to do so. You will be denying legitimate immigrants the opportunity with the limited number of visas available.

The purpose of immediate relative and family-based categories is family reunification inside the US. If the sponsor does not reside within the US, there is no basis to immigrate.
