September - Visa Revalidation Tracking

I called them yesterday and said that my application has been pending more than 12 weeks. The rep said that it has not yet been processed and they are still processing early October cases.
Maybe you got a really unhappy Rep on the line..

I finally got the PP today. Checked and everything seems to be correct! Now we can finally make some travel plans!!

Azzuri,
I just called the DC office and asked them for a 'status update of my Passport/visa'. They asked for the primary applicants PP number (ours were for H1 and H4) . And they told me that our visas have been approved on 2nd Jan and that they had no further information from there on.. saw on FedEx tracking that the passport was actually dispatched from DC on 5th Jan. Call around 8:30..you'll have lesser waiting time. Good luck!:)

I too have been a silent reader to this great forum. We got our visas approved.

Here are the details:

FedEx SL: 09/22/03
SL recd. date : 09/24/03 ( as per fedex)
DC date : Don't know..
Visa approved: 31st dec
Dispatched (fedEx): 6th Jan
PP to be recd today...: 7th jan

Everything looks fine.

According to the Muthy.com forum , Currently DOS processing Oct16th and 17th cases.


Still i don't know the status of my application.

I just checked the fedex site and here is the status. I should receive the PP by tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

I called DC office just now and the rep said they are still processing Sep end cases and she cannot provide any status on my case over the phone. She said because of the holiday season, things have got delayed.

SL Date OCT 10 and DC Date OCTOBER 17 , got his Passport .
something went wrong somewhere .

I called the DC office again, was on hold for 10 mins and the rep said that she cannot give the status. She said they are currently processing Oct 17th cases. I told mine was Oct 10th. Then she checked the status and told that my visa has been APPROVED!!!
Yes, approved.
Camera_guy01, call them now. The wait is just around 10 minutes.
 
after long wait ( One Hour) . the rep said that she cannot give the status.

i told her , my SL date is sept 25 .

then she gave me the good news . Mine is approved today .
 
Good News , I just called in 10 mintues ago, she told me mine is approved today

my SL date was 25th sept.

I checked my fedex tracking number today and found that the packed was attempted to be delivered this morning. Picked it up at Fedex station this evening. Everything was OK. Passpost with visa. It was stamped on Jan 5th.

H1-B and I-94

Hi!

I had sent PP for revalidation on sep 19th din't recived untill now.
My I-94 expired before my visa got expired. This happend because at the last time when i entered into this country my passport was expiring before my visa expire, at POE inspector had told me that he is issuing I-94 untill my PP is valid. After that i got my H1-B and PP(renewed) extended and even got I-94 with the H1-B approval.
I don't know what would be outcome with expired I-94 before visa expire. Please post if any one of you had similar situation and any suggestion would be help full.

I din't heard any thing from Washington, DC regarding my revalidation.

Guys, please make sure that you mention the SL received date when you post your visa revalidation approvals.

Hi,

Here is the update..

I just called DC office. Rep told that, they have changed the polacy, they are not gving the status.
We have to wait for 12 to 16 weeks. Then I have requested her that I have travel plan to india in the next week and I am really worried about it. then she took my passport no and gave the update.


SL Date: 24th Sep
DC date: 10th Oct
Approval date: ????
Printed: 8th Jan
Waiting for FEDEX tracking...

Hi,
I sent my passport to SL on Sept'29th, I got it approved yesterday that is on Jan8th. Actually I sent a request to withdraw my passport on Jan5th but before the withdraw request went into the system my visa got approved.
I actually called washington (@ 202-663-1225 press 1 and 0) DC three times to find the status. First time I enquired about the withdrawal process, second time they didn't give the status, but the third time they did give me the status, they said i got approved and the passport will be sent on the same day. As they said my passport was shipped the same day and I got it on Jan'9th.
You guys will also get u r VISA soon.

My passport was recevied at SL on 25 Sep. I do not know about the DC dates and never called up the DC number. Thanks to this thread, especially to camera_guy01, I was able to get constant updates.

I recd the stamped passport today by Fedex.

Visa Dt : 8 Jan
Recd Dt: 9 Jan
