September - Visa Revalidation Tracking

H4 visa approved..

fyi:

DC date: Oct 3rd.

Just called DC office and the lady said that the visa is approved.

I have send My family Passports for visa revalidation (1-H1B & 2 -H4) under 221(g) (because of Photos problem). They have received on December 4, 2003.

Any body knows, In how many days It will take to process?.

Any body have tel# for the following address.

I think my St louis date is either on SEP 19th or 20th. I am not very sure but it is in either of these two days.

Hi camera_guy01,

Before few minutes I have called to DC, that Lady told me, Process is completed. Our Passports are despatched on 17th Dec. Till now I did not receive through USPS.
 
Just called DC visa office. My visa is approved (yesterday) and waiting to get printed.

SL: Date :23'rd Oct
DC: Don't know (may be 3'rd or 6'th Oct)
Approved: 23'rd Dec

I guess I am next in line now so, tried contacting DC office today, was placed on hold for more than an hour. Finally lost patience and disconnected.

Will try calling on Monday and update the status.
 
221(g) Invalid photo

skriyaz and others please help me out,
my passport was returned today with invalid photo,
what to do next, the 221(g) has St.Louis Adress.
do i sent it to DC or St Louis, do i need to resend everything
including fees.

please advice, what do i do next,
 
Visa Correction

Guys,
You wont belive, i got my passport which i sent for name
correction last week with stamping somebodys visa.
i am resending again for correction. Does anyone has same experience ???

Send all the required documents with valid photo and with out Fees to the following address.

I too called up DC, waited for more than 2 hours and finally hung up!

It looks like it's a holiday for them.

I will be traveling on Jan10th, and my DC date is Sep 28th. I was very confident that I will get the visa before I go, but now I have slowly started doubting it! Going by the trend that existed when I applied, I thought it won't take more than 3 months from St.Louis date (Sep 10) and so I was confident with having one month buffer. What a miscalculation it was!

Got my Passport today.

H4 visa -
DC Date: OCT 3rd.
Visa approved on Dec 24th.

Name and the dates seems to be fine in the visa.

correction

kumar,
i havent recvd my passport back after correction.
i sent it on the 17th. When I called them, they said that the name on the system is corrected and should have gone for printing. But I still havent recvd. it.
When did you send in your's for correction the first time and when did you get it back with the wrong name again?

CORRECTION - DC RECVD on 12/22

I am waiting for CORRECTION too( H4 -- > H1 ).The passport was received on 12/22/2003 @ DC , Waiting eagerly back for the corrected visa stamp.Kumar please let us know once you have received your passport.
