VISA ISSUED/APPROVED DATE OF DEC4TH

Hi Folks,
Is there anyone whose Visa issue/approve date is Dec 4th(based on info from visa officer) and havent received passports as of today ie Dec 10th?

Does anyone know if the Visa officers would be able to give information on status of visa printing also or they would be able to give information about when the visa was issued/approved?

My DC is Sep 27th.
I heard from the officer that my visa has been revalidated and has been sent to Printing and QA. She says it will take upto 2 weeks till I recieve them.

NO UPDATE

Things are really slowing down at the DOS. MY DC date was Sept 27th but my passport is still in a box waiting to be processed. They started processing DC Sept 27th dates last thursday and a week later they are still there.

Again the people who answer the phones are the one who process our applications so more phone calls mean more delays.

Suppose to dispatch from DC most probably today or tomorrow.
I'm tracking it on FedEx and would update you as soon as it is picked.

Senator office, who is working on my case also informed me that they are still processing Sept 27. Process is slow because of holiday time.
I'm also as curious as anybody else because my flight is on Sunday Dec 14 and I'm going India for engagement.

my visa is also printed Yesterday Dec 10, I called DOS office after omaha reply and It will be sent out today or tomorrow.I am also checking on Fed Ex site, will update you as soon as I get my visa.

I didn't call but somebody from different dept of visa office provided this information to senator office.
