September Mailer..

how long it takes to get EAD/AP in mail

EAD/AP was approved in the last week
of Dec, 2001 as per AVM. But till date
didn\'t receive anything by mail. My
WAC# is WAC-02-010-xxxxx. The AVM says
that if it is not received in 14 days
to contact them to update the address.
I haven\'t changed address. Anyone else
in the same boat. What should we do?

Hope it\'s better to contact IIO if 14 days are already over.
I got AP approval notice within one week after the approval i heard thru AVM.

It gets updated when notice is sent.
Then after you appear for FP then it gets updated to something like \'Received FP for review on ....\'

Then it gets update to \'Received information from FBI....processing resumed.\'

Hi Folks
Would any one explain me FP results results recived and processing resumed. What is meant by this exactly. Can I assume that I am almost close to my 485 approval and crossed the stage of asking for "RFE"

When should I expect to receive the FP notice.

I mailed my 485 app in first week of Sept. Have already recd. AP and EAD...Any guesstimate on when will I get the FP notice

Recieved FP notice on 01/31

Recieved FP notices for self and wife on 01/31.
RD:09/17, ND:09/27
FP Scheduled : 03/08, Oakland.

Did litle bit of research with The FP schedules for July and Aug, This is what I found:
Reciept of FP notices is taking between 4months to 5 months from RD.
FP schedule date is taking between 5 months 10 days to 6 months from RD.

One thing surprised me , yesterday I checked the AVM, it says something like " FP notice was sent on 01/31" but I got the FP notices in the mail on 01/31, How this happened- no idea.

PCee : Can you update the records, I am listed as Apan.

I talked my lawyer and she says you cannot ask INS about FP\'s any more.

Any body have idea on when september mailer\'s getting their FingerPrints. I saw in the post that August mailers getting their FP\'s.

My RD 09/17/2001 and ND 09/27/2001. Got FP Notice on 11/28/2001. FP Done on 11/29/2001. Now AVM says Processing Resume for this case.

I haven\'t got my FP yet either. RD Aug 29. ND Sept 24.
Location: San Jose.
If any of you who has the same timeframe for RD/ND gets
FP notice, could you please update all of us on this
forum so that we can keep track of what\'s going on with our
case. I will do the same if I get my FP.

why can\'t you make an inquiry?

Did you lawyer give you a reason? Why can\'t you ask INS about FP?
 
FP Notice Info

There is now a National FingerPrint scheduler which schedules FingerPrint notices.. and that\'s why INS can no longer track the schedule.

For San Jose folks, the scheduling is taking atleast 6 months after RD.

AP approved but not received, plan to travel, can I get a copy?

My AP was approved (according to AVM) but I have never received the AP by mail.

I have changed my residence during I485 process but I have received
EAD.

My H1 is extended and need to go consulate in Mumbai/Chennai for the
stamp.

Can I still travel on H1?. If I go to INS office can I get a copy of AP?

From the data available it appears that GC approval is far away for
september mailers.

My fp is San Jose and that\'s another saga.
