Seeking advice on pending I-140 cases filed before June 2003

I heard the similar thing, which has to wait after a month before filing the inquery, from other resources. For now, it is very sad to say that we have to wait.

I saw following from another resource of information, though it might have been improved now.

Information for VSC for I-140.
Jan.2003 7.9%
Feb.2003 42.2%
Mar.2003 58.9%
Apr.2003 68.4%
May.2003 72.8%

In Feb 2003, still almost half case haven't been processed.

The EB2 dates are moved to June 20 but my case status has not changed.
Are there many of us in the same boat. Do I have to wait or ask my lawyer to query my record.

Any advise please

Apply for emergency parole which you can get in one day or reglar parole which you will get in 3 months and plan for a trip. My best guess is no more 140 is important so leave it as it is do not stir the water let it be in the shelf. I have a friend of mine in same situation he did not get 140 his 485 is approved in 23 months. May be our case too. soon there may be a law change occour 140 is not required. However it is for the company.

Based on the online status, my 140 was approved last Friday. Be patient, folks, and you will all get through. My employer sent an inquiry for me, seems it helps.

ND: 3/1/03
AD: 4/16/04

So I guess the fiscal year ends somewhat before the calendar year?

We filed with a ND of 10/23/03 but our receipt number starts with EAC04016 (which I guess would put the start/end of the fiscal year around the first week of October)?

140 Got approved after 2 years

I did not check forum for 485 since my 140 was not approved in the past

Now I dont have to since my 485 Also got approved after 19 months
One finger printing after filing 485. Got approved before the second one due by 15 months. Final FP on passport also done. :)

140 Jul 2001 RFE Exp.letter / Company Income
Missed RFE so refiled 140 on jul 2002
second RFE: Education evaluation / Expreience letters / Company Income
485 Filed Dec 2002
First FP Sep 2003
Approved July 2004

FYI... 485 approval may be based on your Labor priority date.
