Seeking advice on pending I-140 cases filed before June 2003

I look for any input from those whose I-140 cases fell behind the USCIS published process date.

USCIS updated EB2 I-140 process date to June 20, 2003 on April 8, 2004. My I-140 case (EB2) has ND 03/01/2003, but so far it has not been approved.

Is there anyone who had similar experience before and later got his/her case approved? Is there any suggestion?

Also people who are currently on the same boat are welcome to have their inputs.

contact ins

you need to contact ins to the national custormer center and start an inquiry, just call and give the eac number and wait 30 days.......hope this helps 1 800 375 5283 ,call them:)

Perico,

Thank you for your information. Unfortunately, before posting this thread, I already learned that as a beneficiary of 140 filing, I am not eligible to query the status of my case by myself.

Since the case was filed by corporate attorney, and we would have always to deal with internal HR cooridinator first instead of contacting attorney directly, I initiated this thread to see if anyone in the forum could give me some idea on what I could do to call up their attentions to help look after it for me.

Many thanks.

If a query is filed, i wonder if the issue will be solved in 30 days ...

Is there someone who had this issue solved after filing the query?

My brother has an I-140(EB3) pending since Feb 2003, the status inquiry almost 3 months ago is still without any response. His Ead renewal was approved in early March without triggering any action on I-140.

I really dont know what else one can do.

my ND date is 03/12/03. I contacted my law office to check status. I will update if i get any news from them

Mine is 4/8/2003

Mine:I-140/I-485/I-765/I-131
RD 4/8/2003
ND 4/21/2003

Not approved Yet. I tried to call CIS. But they required employer or lawyer to call them to make an inquiry for I-140.

So frustrated about CIS.

FP: 2/26/2004
EAD: 7/10/2003
AP:7/15/2003

Apply for second EAD on 4/7/2004

I-140 middle 3 numbers

Just to try to find some clues. What are your middle 3 numbers after EAC03?

As in mine, is 114 after EAC03.

EAC03114*****

This is how it works

EAC for vermont
next 2 digits for the fisical year filed
next 3 digits for day of the fisical year
Rest applicaton number

Correct me if I am wrong.

:)

Thank sankav2000

sankav2000,

You are right. Well, at least to my observation, the lower the middle 3 number, the earlier the RD/ND.

I just wonder if anyone who knows some friends who had waited their I-140s before and did something on query or consulting attorneys, or just have to wait.

Any thought is welcome.

Hi

Dont worry !!!

I am here . It will happen only when your file has luck to be processed by the clerk. It may be dispatched on siting on his desk or home. Typical Govt office. I have gone thru many

Mine is EAC 02 250************** filed on July 2002 EB2 Still waiting and my friend on 2001. So keep it cool

But EAD renewal is being done without any issues. when I had my ead website was showing it is under process and it is still the same.

It is all Luck

Cheers

Hi Sankav,

So when do we see Light !!!

I am not even applying for my AP in the fear of the decesion on the I140 maybe shelved further because I maybe leaving the country... I need to go to India actually, haven't been in last 3 years...

Atulh

So your H1 is completed 6 years. I had six months of H1 so recently I went to india and came back without any issues. so you dont need a parole. Apply for emergency parole which you can get in one day or reglar parole which you will get in 3 months and plan for a trip. My best guess is no more 140 is important so leave it as it is do not stir the water let it be in the shelf. I have a friend of mine in same situation he did not get 140 his 485 is approved in 23 months. May be our case too. soon there may be a law change occour 140 is not required. However it is for the company.

Cheers
