Seattle Regional DOL Tracker

Hi,
My SWA was Oregon, and I think the case should go to Seattle DOL queue. But my lawyer says it went to SFO DOL queue.
I just called 415-975-4617 and 1 and 1 and enter my case number and go the following info:
"Case # 0959xxx was received on Aug 17th 2004 with xxx DOT code.
The status was updated on Aug 17th 2004"

There was no information as to which queue it was or if it was sent to any of the BECs.

Could any one please shed light on how to find out which queue I am in (don't know if it matters it goes to a BEC). And if it has gone to any one of the BECs.

If my case was in SFO DOL queue, it would have gone to one of the BECs (Phili or Dallas) by now as per postings in this forum, correct?
So does that mean my lawyer is certainly wrong/ignorant?

Thanks
SFO DOL has sent only California cases to BEC.(source: call 415 975 4601 , press 1, press 1 and listen) Your case is in SFO DOL only.In SFO Dol, they are processing CA cases and other western case in different queues. AVM does not say anything about in which queue the case is. But if u applied from Seattle, that itself says that u r in other western states queue. There is no other way to find out your queue. If u call 415 974 4601, it gives a message stating the status of processing for different queues.

Hi Nirvan,
Thanks for the info.
Do you know if the Seattle DOL queue in SFO will be kept open and running as usual in 2005?
Or after Jan 1 2005 all cases be sent to BEC/NPC?

Cheers

Posting on Murthy.com regarding the recent AILA meeting with DOL, informs us that SFO, NY DOLs will be kept open till the end of 2005.
But these procedure can change any time.
Right now, since SFO DOL has trasferred 20000 cased to BECs. Until those cases are completed, they won't transfer any cases from SFO DOL to BECs. So, until that time we can expect that present procedures continue.
But, SWAs( not DOL) will send all there cases to BECs after Dec 31, s004.

Thanks a lot for the great work, Jayjo. Your updates are very helpful in giving an idea of where I stand, and to chart out a course of action should things not go as per my expectations in the coming days. Thanks again!

 what is Notice of finding ? What usually about it? Is it same as RFE?
Not enough evidence to prove the market has beed tested throughly, probably the employer has to re-test the market

Where do we find the case#?

1. I wrote a small program to generate a file(Spresd Sheet) with 2000 numbers backwards starting from my number.

2. Every night i use my cell phones free night minutes i call 1-415-975-4617 option 1,1 enter the case number and update your spread sheet with the received date form the AVM.

3.Sort the cases by RD, i had one worksheet for each date that way you can get how many cases per day

4. Then go back to AVM every day and see what cases certified that day and update the sheet also this thread

I know it is little bit of work, hey that way you have some knowledge of where the DOL and some satisfaction. Also you can help others in this forum

Please see attached my spread sheet

Hope that helps,

Thanks Jayjo7

I did generated numbers up to my number.
I am going to check AVM to find received date. Today just rings and rings forever, never goes to AVM. I will do post results to the thread.
Thanks for sharing this idea.

What is the next step for you? I-140/cp or I-140/485?
Good luck.

Congrats and thanks Jayjo ! Thanks GCin2005 for stepping in

Jayjo, what a leadership role you've demonstrated in this forum. You deserved this certification. Thanks GCin2005; if you can post the results of your inquiry that would be great.

By the way, based on the list can someone tell me when cases RD=05/10/04 would be processed ?
