Seattle Regional DOL Tracker

Yes

Jayjo, yes I did. But, it didn't work. So, either my company used a different phone number that I'm not aware of or the law firm used their own number.

What is the AVM message if you get the damn 3 option letter ?

What does the Answer machine says in case your case is one of those lucky ones which received a 3 option letter ?

What 3 option letter you are talking about, can you please give some more information on that

Jayjo, in case DOL decides that your oganization recruitment efforts to hire qualified Americans were not enough, they can issue the "3 option letter" that gives you a choice I think to withdraw the RIR application or do more advertisement. People in this thread already reported that happened sometimes. I am just wondering what they will say in the AVM in case I am one of those who gets this 3 option letter...

I opened my hotline again this afternoon but with different number.
Here are the summary:
1/. The Phil DOL office just moved, they are packing/unpacking stuff.
2/. The Backlog Reduction Center has not sent letters out yet.
3/. The BRC new hires are in the process of inputing data to the computer system.
4/. After that they have to be trained for some time.
5/. When everything are ready, the BRC will start to send the confirmation letters.
6/. Once the BRC is moving, it's going to be fast, by next Janunary, we should be able to see a lot of approval cases.
7/. San Fransisco has sent about 10000 cases to Phil BRC to process, but Phil cases will be processed first.

based on this does anyone know if Seattle DOL queue is also sending cases to BRCs?
Seems like if there is a flood of approvals in Jan, they could use up all the available Immigration Visas..
Cheers...

Time Between "Certified" and Receiving Confirmation

Anyone aware of the average time between being Certified and receiving the letter of confirmation ?

Confused Not To Mention Ticked

Jayjo, feeling frustrated, I called my lawyer. As I might have mentioned, that firm has a policy not to give out case numbers. So, I asked him to do a query. He called me back and said that we know for a fact that your case is with the San Fran Region queue, so we know your case is still 'pending'. He indicated that he knows it is in that queue because when it was transferred, his firm received a letter from the San Fran office indicating that it went into that office. He further more said, that this makes sense because he knows that they are phasing out the Seattle office.

I am very confused by all the "certified" cases on your inventory list. Everyone on your list appears to be certified by the Seattle regional date. But, my attorney is absolutely convinced by the letter he received that mine went to San Fran.

I don't understand .... not to mention I feel upset ...

Anybody here got RIR DOL LC certified with only BS+1 ?

Have you heard lately of people getting certified Ok when only BS + 1 year experience was required on ETA750 ?

Case number

I had a half similar situation. I did not get my case number until last week although my case was transfered to the Seattle regional office in May. It was a lot of frustration but I finally got the number. But when I use the number to check with the Seattle office for the case last week I found out that I could have got my case number long ago by using my company phone number. So if you can get the San Fran office case status phone number and your company phone number, you can get yours too. The Seattle case status phone number is 415-975-4617.

Still Confused

Thank, Duck. But, I'm still confused. I fully understood what you have said. The number you provided appears to be the same number that those who are in the San Fran queue are using.

But, the thing that I really am confused about and want to know is which queue I'm in.

San Fran and Seattle Queue AVR #

Duck, I just double checked the government web site. The phone numbers for both queues is exactly the same.

Hello WaitingPatiently,

I feel very sorry for your posistion, however if we know the case number definitely we can confirm whether it is in SFO Queue or SEATTLE Queue. I am working on collecting all the casses and it RD date until my case whose RD is 04/12/04, please see attachement.

Can you obtain the phone number of your company that used in the filing, that way we may obtain your case number. I beleive your HR contact won't mind giving the phone number that they gave to your lawyer

Jay

Well that doesn't help very much doesn't it? After all I guess it isn't very important to know which queue you are in except that the two queues are processed in different pace? Anyway, I think if you got your Company's phone# you should have the case number by now. Good luck.

2 Cases 03/15/2004 Unprocessed

Jayjo, referring to your 'original' spreadsheet (not the one you recently posted the other day) you had a list of (I think ?) 31 cases with a March 15 receive date.

I believe on October 5th I posted a message that of those 31 cases 4 still are unprocessed.

Today, of those 4, only 2 are left unprocessed. I'm wondering, could you please determine if those 2 that are left are in the Seattle or San Fran queue ? They are:

9579057
9579073

Until my HR gets back to me (they are researching), I'm trying to narrow this down on my own. Do you feel that the 31 mentioned on your original list is the full superset of those cases with a March 15th receive date ? If the answer to that question is true, then I'm either one of the two cases above, or I am in the other set of 29 'Certified' cases.

I am also assuming that the phone number we are dialing 415-975-4617 is a combined list of both Seattle and San Fran. This assumption is based on the government web site indicating that the phone number is the same for both regions.

Thank you.

how long does it take to get GC in ID?

I am planning to file my GC through ID. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the actual green card to come through? It appears that labor certification is pretty fast at both the state and federal levels.

Hi
I am a new member. I see Seattle as March 04 while SF is Feb 2003. Which queue would we be under from seattle.
Thx

Washington will be under Seattle DOL

RIR Approved

I believe my case has been certified. My law firm should be sending me confirmation of that with the certified date shortly. I will post the date when I receive it from them.

For those following along on previous posts, I was not able to get my case number. I found out that my RIR has been approved because my law firm has a web site that they own and maintain where thier clients (like me) can login via a userid and look up status information. Today they posted that my RIR approval has been received. So, I expect to receive an email from the firm within a day or so.

So, my lawyer has turned out to be a crackpot.
