I hope someone can help me out this time. I just called KCC and they have scheduled me for an interview in Frankfurt, Germany at February 12th. I was shocked because they scheduled me in the country that I did not want to be interviewed. Apparently the information that I updated did not get to them.
I was born in Germany but my family moved to Indonesia when I was just a kid. I'm an Indonesian Citizen and not a German Citizen nor a German Resident. I was told by the lady @ the KCC that they couldn't change the location of the interview once it's set. She said that I need to contact the local USCIS office if I'm in the U.S to do the interview in the U.S or contact the U.S Embassy in Indonesia and see if my file can be transferred for an interview there.
This is starting to worries me. I don't mind to do the interview in Germany but I don't know anyone in Frankfurt and I'm worried because I'm not a German Citizen nor Resident.
Does anyone have similar experience? Have someone been interviewed in the country where they have never been a Resident or Citizen of that country? and Have someone ever made successful transfer of their interview location from one embassy to another?
