Scanner's case status

There is one extra column in your chart. Whats that about?
I mean.... it is showing 20,30,40,50... (very first column) what that about?
If that is "Received" ..then what is that for next column....

The very first column has "date" and "some numbers like 20,30,40,50,60...etc"
Looks like they are mis-organized?

As of Apr 15, this is the update. It seems like they're processing cases more towards Nov end. Also some towards Jan end too. In addition, very few RFE's seen (10-15%)

Date column and status columns

Those must be the received dates. New dates are added as he/she runs scanner. Second column is a "status" column, may be a case still in CSC and at "received" status. Check out immigrationwatch.com. They are running scanners as well...

Apr12 scanner results had ~1100 cases, probably 1/5th of the total count. On another note, I think TSC is doing a good job: 1. instead of waiting to sort all the cases and make processors wait, they are picking up cases, so we are seeing very late RD approvals, 2. they are fast and have enough resources. It looks like all transfered cases would be touched by the end of June. I wish we would have the same speed for 485 cases.

arouncoumar: This is a very very useful tool. Thank you very much. Please keep it up. If you decide to leave, please send me the databases...

Cheers,

mike, you got it right. I'm glad its being useful. Sure I will pass it around when I leave.

Basically, 1st column is date. If its WAC060205xxxx, I refer it as 20 and so on. So, this spreadsheet report status of cases that are spread 10 days. As mine is near Jan 26,2006 I'm scanning more there. Call me selfish. hehe.. Scanning databases from Oct end - Feb end, we have a clue as which dates USCIS is picking up / processing the cases. Is it FIFO or everywhere or...

Can you run your wonderful scanner on VSC cases ?

Hi Arouncoumar,
your case status checking scanner program is wonderful . Can you tweak that a little and run that on VSC cases ? My I140 is pending from first week of SEP 05 and employer/lawyer is unwilling to initiate any inquiry so soon but may people after me have got their I 140 cleared . My case number is EAC0524XXXXXX and it was filed in VSC under EB2 India. If you can do this , it will be a great help for me , I just want to know that there are more number of cases like me around that time still sitting unprocessed at VSC?

Thanks

sandipkarmakar1.. All credit goes to Talkative. He built it. Check out the 2nd post, it has details to the original thread. You can run it yourself, its pretty simple.

Hi Guys.

I'm relatively new to this forum. Can someone provide more details about this Scanner script/program.

1. Can I download the software from somewhere?
2. How do I run it?
3. What should/can I learn from the results?

I've filed my I-140 EB1 concurrently with I-485 on Dec-14, 2005. I've received transfer notice on March 22nd. 2005. for both the I-140 and I-485. I've also received FP appointment notice scheduled for May-2 2006.

Last LUD March 27th. No record evidence that my I-140/I-485 was actually received by TSC!

My number is: WAC060575xxxx

Thanks.

Sure. You are welcome to mail me the db. I will include it depending upon how big it is. I will PM you my email address.

I have modified the code for the tscanner such that it doesnt scan for cases which already have been approved. As there wont be any change in status for these cases, not scanning for these cases saves bandwidth and time. Also I have modified the code so that, for approved cases it shows the date on which the case was approved. Let me know if anyone is interested in the patch files for these changes.
