Yes, you can get copy of approval from USCIS by paying few bucks. Check USCIS web site for the form/procedure

Yes, it definitely looks like someone lit a fire under the person at the DOL - the pace has picked up considerably recently. Finally! Only problem is all the skipped cases.

validity of the following forms

gp111 and other Gurus,

I have been trying to get certificates and I managed them now.

I got the Marriage Certificate (identified as a "Form 'B'" issued by Registrar of Marriages) and Birth Certificate (identified as "Form No. 5" issued by Municipal Corporation).

Can someone confirm if these form are valid and can be used for filing I-485?
