Skipped case certified
I was one of the skipped 4/14 EB3 cases (095598...). I just checked AVM and my case was finally certified on 6/20. So gc_dreams and others in the same boat, check AVM again. You might be lucky too.

Quick Question for gurus
Hello Guys,
My labor just got certified a few days ago and I am in the process of filing for the i140/485 forms, I had already made plans to travel during the first week of July on my valid H1B visa as I have to attend a wedding ceremony but because of the labor approval and EB3 retrogression I have to file before June 30th.
My lawyer informs me that I cannot travel unless I get the I485 receipt, I read on this is forum that it is not an absolute requirement and I can travel on my valid H1 without abandoning my application if I keep proof of filing like Fedex receipts / tracking. Is this correct ?

Some one has answered your question in other thread already...
You are still fine as new company takes over the LC/GC process. Only thing you need to do is submit documents proving Merger/Sell ..

Eventhough they are not affected now, they will definitely in future. If you don't know much about retrogession, please educate yourself and strongly support this move and help to solve this horrible problem. As you may know, EB-3 is currently unavailable worldwide and they are also expecting wide retrogression for other categories (including EB-2, EB-1) shortly - please see ticker http://www.shusterman.com/homepage.html). If this retrogession problem remain untouched, then due to current backlog, flood of application from PERM, backlog centers, this problem will become even worse and one has to wait for 6-7 or may be10 years to get their GC!!
There is tremendous force generated to resolve this retrogression issues on above mentioned link. It is the time to unite everyone at this moment and act together. So please support!!
