RTD at Naturalization interview

i have a naturalization interview which i will attend with my RTD since I lost my green card. my rtd is my only document. will it be taken away from me at the interview and if not when? i am worried to be going around without a single federal document. thanks for any advice...

It won't be taken away at interview, but you'll have to surrender it at oath.

The IO took my most recent expired RP at the interview, so as long as it's still valid, you'll get to keep it. Of course, the IO might not even bother to look.
